The Media Assistant is a position within the Registrar’s Office at George Blood Audio / Video / Film / Data, helping to guarantee quality stewardship of client material while on-site. This individual is responsible for assisting with daily tasks, such as checking in and evaluating client materials, preparing media for transfer workflows, and warehouse and vault maintenance. This position is a great entry level opportunity to learn more about the field of audiovisual preservation and on-the-job training will be provided. This position could be part time or full time. Students are welcome to apply! Also appropriate for early career or project archivists who are underemployed or between assignments.
