Media Art Xploration (MAXlive) is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual with excellent communication and strong organizational skills to join its growing team. MAXlive produces and presents groundbreaking live & immersive arts that harness & interrogate the scientific advances of our times. We have a great team now and we look forward to adding another positive member to our crew! The archivist is responsible for finding footage of 3 ecosystems and some transportation modes in those vicinities. This production is an immersive audio visual installation with live activation by a vocalist when presented as a performance. 

Responsibilities:

• Report to the Artistic Director and be responsible for ensuring the quality and completeness of the creative vision for the immersive experience
• Working closely with the Producer to manage visuals and sound footage 
• Collecting and storing images for production  
• Be able to manage workload and prioritize tasks independently

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in archiving
• Working knowledge of sound equipment and system design 
• Scheduling flexibility 
• Strong leadership skills 
• Proficiency with various software programs including MS Office Suite, Dropbox, G-suite, Adobe Premiere, and audio editing software
• Must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery (e.g., copier, fax machine)
• Ability to approach work with a spirit of collaboration and cooperation
• Attention to detail and a passion for problem solving

Compensation:

$50/hour
