The International Outreach Committee promotes AMIA’s programs and resources to the worldwide community of moving image archivists and encourages global professional awareness and knowledge within the AMIA membership.

It develops policies and programs to enable AMIA to reach out to moving image archivists throughout the world in order to encourage their participation in AMIA, with the specific objective of supporting those who face greater barriers to accessing the association and its resources.

The committee connects AMIA with ongoing activities in other international organizations that may intersect with and/or enhance AMIA programs including soundly based volunteerism and other forms of mutual support.
